Left 4 Dead 2 Pre-orders = early demo
In a recent interview, Valve’s marketing VP Doug Lombardi stated that gamers who pre-order Left 4 Dead 2 from “participating retailers or Steam” will receive “advanced access to the demo.”
Sounds like a good deal to me. Valve did this same kind of thing when the first Left 4 Dead was coming out. I really appreciate the whole pre-order to get early access kind of thing. It shows that Valve knows their customers. There are some people, myself included, who are going to buy L4D2 no matter what. It’s nice to know that Valve recognizes these customers and hooks us up with a demo to help ease the wait.
The only details known about the Left 4 Dead 2 demo are that it will hit before November 17, it will be on both PC and Xbox 360, and it will include multiplayer.
